Judith Sanford LMT, CST
I graduated from McGill University in Montreal, CA in English and Philosophy and then trained for three years at the National Theatre School of Canada. After working long enough in the theatre I realized I would need a second source of income. I soon received my first massage, to recover from the devastating discovery that I was the World’s Worst Waitress. Wisely, I switched to massage therapy and my second choice soon became my first. I count myself lucky to be spending my working years in this rewarding and endlessly fascinating field.
Since training in Toronto, CA in 1976-77 I have gone on to do extensive education in CranioSacral Therapy, Biovalent Systems, Lymph Drainage, and many other modalities, including Muscle Energy and Reiki III. My work reflects an integrative approach to the body’s extraordinary ability to self correct and heal. In individual sessions I may use a combination of these skills.
Licensed in Oregon since 1990, I am a member of the American Massage Therapist Association and an adjunct instructor at the Ashland Institute of Massage. I have a full time private practice in Ashland, Oregon.
I was recently interviewed for an article about bodywork in the area. Click here to read the full article.
