At Meridian Wellness we strive to serve as many people as possible. Billing your insurance and checking your insurance policy is ultimately a courtesy of our clinic. We kindly ask our valued clients to be responsible for any insurance changes or claim denials to insure payments for services received. 

Your responsibility as a medically insured customer?

• Have benefits checked before receiving treatments.
• Maintain your prescription for medical massage. 
• If cancelation policy is broken we cannot bill your medical insurance therefore you will be charged for missed appointment
• Pay for your copays, coinsurance or deductibles at time of service
• If claims are denied by insurance it is your responsibility to call your policy and correct any errors or you may be charged for services received. 
• Our office staff is here to serve high quality, friendly, and professional care and we expect cooperative and kind interactions with customers while trying to work with your insurance policies.  

Medical Massage for Motor Vehicle Claims

We currently except all motor vehicle claim insurances in the state of Oregon. Your personal injury protection, otherwise known as your PIP, allows you to receive massage therapy services. We can work closely with your care providers in your recovery process from your auto accident. 

How can Massage and CranioSacral therapy help with my auto accident injuries?

Massage and CranioSacral therapy can support the recovery of soft tissue, myofascial pain, sprains, strains, concussions, headaches, neck and back pain, and anxiety. Massage and Craniosacral can improve range of motion and help bring you back to optimal function. Supporting the bodies healing process can also improve the benefits of other therapies such as Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Osteopathic, Acupuncture, and Counseling to name a few.

What steps do I take to have the benefits of massage and craniosacral therapy covered?

• Make sure you have an open claim and a claim provider specialist with your insurance company.
• Provide Meridian Wellness Center with your insurance claim number and policy information
• Establish care with any medical providers such as Chiropractic, Primary Care, Acupuncturist, FNP, DO, Naturopathic care, or any other provider who can evaluate your injuries. 
• We must have a medical prescription with diagnosis codes from any provider listed above. 
• Download and print prescription for your physician under our tab for Prescription Download 
• Establish with Meridian Wellness for your treatments. 

Medical Massage for Health Insurance 

We are currently accepting insurance for a few medical insurance companies including Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, HMA, Providence, and Pacific Source. Only some of these policies offer massage benefits.

• Some policies have deductibles that need to be met before covering treatments.

• Visit limitations per year.
